1. Go to analytics.google.com
  2. Go to admin and create a new property
  3. Set up a web data stream and keep the stream details open. ga4 setup
  4. Go to tagmanager.google.com on a new tab
  5. Create a new account or container if you don’t already have one
  6. Add <head> and <body> code to your website tagmanager setup
  7. Go to Tag Manager > Tags > Create new > GA4 configuration
  8. Copy/paste your measurement ID from your analytics stream details stream ID
  9. Select the trigger “page views” all pages
  10. Save your tag and go to preview, enter your domain
  11. Check that your page view event fired correctly
  12. Submit your Tag Manager changes
