He is the founder of the AI SEO Operators community, and the autonomous AI SEO agent Omnipresence. He has worked in SEO since 2012, across agency, in-house, and founder roles, accumulating over 14 years driving organic growth. He has worked with brands including UBS, Liebherr, Edmonton International Airport, EPCOR, Jobber, Loopio, and Looka, spanning high-growth startups to Fortune 500 enterprises. His work has produced measurable outcomes: a 3x increase in organic signups for a resume SaaS, a 10x increase in top-3 rankings for a project-management SaaS, a 7-figure organic revenue lift for a fintech lender, and $3M+ in annual influenced pipeline for an RFP platform. Each documented with underlying charts in his [case studies](/case-studies/). His current focus is agentic SEO, and his research centers on how AI answer engines retrieve, rank, and cite sources. He turns those findings into systems that automate research, content, and optimization on top of proven ranking fundamentals. His methods and tools have been featured by Search Engine Land, SEO notebook, how the fxck, and Agency Growth Lab. His bet on agents is simple: depth beats breadth. A single agent purpose-built for AI SEO, working one problem end to end, will outperform any workflow stitched together from disconnected tools. Omnipresence is that bet. His work follows a core thesis: SEO fundamentals, AI visibility, and agentic automation are converging into a single system. Each result is from organic search, measured over the period shown in the accompanying chart. Client names are withheld under NDA. **Verification.** Full detail for each engagement is available on request, including baselines, timelines, the attribution methodology used, analytics screenshots, and reference calls with comparable companies. Serious buyers are encouraged to ask before any engagement. These results follow a consistent approach. Read the thinking behind them in [Jonathan's thesis](/thesis/). ## Project Management SaaS **Challenge.** A category leader had been losing organic ground for years and needed to regain rankings on high-value commercial terms. **Approach.** Jonathan ran cross-functional SEO tests to find scalable wins, then automated the repetitive work: brief reviews, internal linking, and keyword research. He aligned editorial strategy, technical improvements, and site architecture, and built targeted authority for the most competitive terms. **What the generic playbook would have done.** Most agencies would have rebuilt the topical map from scratch and pushed thousands of new pages. The existing rankings would have continued to slide. The dilution math doesn't lie: adding pages to a site already losing equity makes the slide steeper, not shallower. **Results.** Top 1 to 3 rankings grew from 4,000 to 40,000, a 10x increase that reversed a multi-year organic decline. ![Ahrefs chart showing organic traffic rising sharply and Top 3 organic positions growing for a project management SaaS](/case-studies/project-management-saas.png) ## Loan Provider SaaS **Challenge.** A fintech lender needed organic search to contribute meaningfully to revenue, not just traffic. **Approach.** Jonathan automated landing-page optimization and keyword research, built a content plan tied to revenue intent rather than vanity metrics, and acted as SEO product owner through a site relaunch to protect existing rankings and capture upside. He strengthened authority signals for the highest-value money keywords. **What the generic playbook would have done.** Most agencies would have left the existing pages alone and focused on new content. The existing pages were already ranking, they just weren't tied to revenue intent. Rewriting them was a higher-leverage move than launching new ones, because each revenue-aligned change compounded with the authority the pages already had. **Results.** Organic traffic doubled and organic search drove a 7-figure revenue lift. Growth continued after the engagement ended. ![Organic traffic chart rising from 60k to 148k visits with continued growth for a loan provider SaaS](/case-studies/loan-provider-saas.png) ## RFP SaaS **Challenge.** A SaaS platform had hit a ceiling on its highest-value keywords and could not break into the top positions. **Approach.** Jonathan upgraded and optimized the highest-value pages first, improved internal linking and semantic relevance across the site, built a roadmap to capture bottom-funnel demand, and applied authority building selectively to break through. **What the generic playbook would have done.** Most agencies would have done broad link building across the whole site. At this client's stage, that would have moved nothing. The blocker wasn't site-wide authority, it was per-page authority on the highest-value money pages. Surgical link building moved those pages. Spray-and-pray would have produced no needle movement. **Results.** Organic search influenced more than $3M in qualified annual pipeline, with 30+ new Top 3 rankings on high-value keywords. Growth continued after the engagement. ![Chart showing Top 3 rankings growing from 130 with more than 30 added and continued growth for an RFP SaaS](/case-studies/rfp-saas.png) ## Property Records SaaS **Challenge.** The company needed to scale organic visibility across a large set of property-record queries and convert that traffic into subscriptions. **Approach.** Jonathan optimized the high-intent pages tied to subscriptions, launched 3,000 programmatic SEO pages with AI-assisted production, ran conversion tests on the pricing page, and built authority to support indexation and ranking stability at scale. **What the generic playbook would have done.** Most agencies would have launched the 3,000 programmatic pages without modeling crawl budget or indexation, and watched Google index half of them while killing the refresh rate on the existing money pages. The encoded move was to plan indexation control alongside the page production, so the new pages contributed to authority instead of fragmenting it. **Results.** Organic traffic doubled, pricing-page views rose 1,000%, and monthly subscriptions doubled. ![Organic traffic chart moving from flat and declining to 2x after a programmatic page launch for a property records SaaS](/case-studies/property-records-saas.png) Want results like these for your B2B SaaS? It is a static set of HTML pages with no accounts, no forms, and no client-side JavaScript. ## What is collected Nothing directly. This site sets no cookies and runs no tracking scripts. It does not ask for, store, or process personal information. ## Hosting logs The site is served by a third-party static host (Cloudflare). Like any web server, the host may record standard request metadata such as IP address, user agent, and requested URL for security and operational purposes. That data is handled under the host's own privacy terms, not collected or used by Jonathan directly. ## Links off-site Pages link to external services such as Cal.com, Skool, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X. The industry teaches surface rules: publish more pages, layer AI on top of your existing stack, treat AI Overviews as a new discipline. The rules are easy to follow, sound right, and ship products. They also have a body count. He has seen sites lose seven-figure organic revenue executing generic best practices because the tools doing the work never modeled the second-order effects. This page is what he believes instead. ## Generic best practices kill websites and revenue The generic playbook says publish more pages to rank for more keywords. The system effect is that every page added to a site competes for finite link equity. Adding a thousand low-quality pages dilutes the authority of the few pages that drive revenue. The tools selling "AI SEO at scale" never model this. The teams using them rarely catch it until the rankings collapse. One B2B SaaS doubled its programmatic page count in six months. Inside a year it had lost seven-figure organic revenue. The team had executed every surface rule perfectly. The encoded alternative is the opposite. Audit before adding. Prune ruthlessly. Test which pages compound and which cannibalize. Automate the wins, not the activity. This is one example of a recurring pattern. Generic best practices see the surface. Encoded expertise sees the system. Every methodology in Omnipresence is built to model the second-order effects most AI-SEO tools ignore. ## Why the work converges Three disciplines are now converging into one operating model. Traditional SEO fundamentals, AI visibility, and agentic automation are not three separate tactics. They are the three loads a single system has to carry. ![Venn diagram of SEO Fundamentals, AI Retrieval, and Agentic Automation overlapping, with a growth arrow at the center where the three converge](/thesis/convergence.svg) ## Traditional SEO fundamentals The fundamentals still decide who wins. Crawlability, information architecture, topical authority, internal linking, and genuine content quality remain the foundation. AI changes how results are assembled, not whether relevance and authority matter. Operators who skip the fundamentals have nothing for an AI system to amplify. ## AI visibility Visibility no longer comes from a single ranked list. Answers are now assembled by large language models that retrieve, cite, and synthesize sources across Google's AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. Earning a place in those answers means optimizing for how machines retrieve and trust information, using structured, verifiable, and citable content rather than keyword density. ## Agentic automation The work of research, content production, optimization, and ongoing maintenance can now be encoded into autonomous systems. Agents execute the fundamentals and the retrieval strategy continuously, at a scale and consistency no human-only team can match. This is where expertise becomes leverage. ## Two camps The search industry is splitting into two camps. The first uses AI to do the same old playbook faster. The second encodes expertise into autonomous systems that build and maintain presence at a scale no human-only operation can match. Jonathan's view is direct: the first camp is racing to the bottom, and the second is building the future. ## One specialized agent, not a stitched stack Most operators are stitching together dozens of disconnected AI tools that do not talk to each other. Jonathan's bet is depth over breadth. A single agent specialized in AI SEO, trained on proven methodology, compounds in ways a fragmented stack never can, because every task it runs sharpens the same system. The point is not a do-everything agent across departments. It is one agent that does AI SEO end to end, better than any stitched workflow. His research into how AI answer engines retrieve, rank, and cite sources feeds directly into that agent. That agent is Omnipresence. ## The moat The moat is not any single tool or tactic. It is a compounding web presence powered by strategy and automation. Jonathan's method is consistent: identify the highest-leverage moves, systematize execution, and compound the results over time. The end state is omnipresence. It means being retrieved and cited across every relevant surface automatically, maintained by systems that never stop running. That conviction is the foundation of everything Jonathan builds, from the AI SEO Operators community to the Omnipresence agent. For proof of this approach in practice, see his [case studies](/case-studies/).
